For me, art has always been more than pretty things. (Though pretty things ARE important.) Art is important to me because I experience life through symbols and pictures, through flow in the Spirit, through impressions and gut feelings...and art gives those ponderings expression.

Thing is, art and ideas don’t happen in a vacuum. I am, (and have been all my life), inspired and informed by an eclectic ARMY of stimulating, interesting and interested, edifying, challenging, skilled, and spirited people who, through different stages of my life, have poured into me. (Truly, poured is the right word here.) I am an individual, but I have not grown on my o culture, and mostly my communities. This is one way to bring us all together; where I can attempt to give back, share what I'm thinking, and invite you to learn with me, give me your feedback, and enjoy the back and forth of conversation. Join us the army! :)
